

Ryan Meers
Dr. Ryan Meers is a seasoned educator and leadership development expert with a passion for helping others grow and lead with purpose. He holds a Ph.D. in Leadership Studies and a Master of Education in Educational Administration from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. His career spans roles in education, business, and nonprofit leadership—including serving as Director of the Ed.D. Healthcare Education Leadership program at Clarkson College, Director of the Center for Leadership Development at Bob Jones University, and Chair of its Division of Communication. In addition, Dr. Meers has held leadership positions at State Farm Insurance and served as a business coach focused on succession planning, leadership effectiveness, and organizational change.
Currently an adjunct faculty member and nonprofit director, Dr. Meers brings a unique blend of academic insight and practical strategy to the Short Strides Board of Directors. His extensive background in training emerging leaders and designing communication-driven development initiatives directly supports Short Strides’ mission of equipping nationals to bring lasting change to their communities.
